ah, but the land in the ditches/dead-end roads/gateways doesn't actually belong to anyone, right??? so it must be there for everyone to use, right? and what better way to use it than to dump all of the waste that you can't be bothered to take to the haz. waste depot, or pay to have disposed of...
Of course, the fact that we are dependent on groundwater, much of which has to be filtered through these piles of crap has yet to occur to anyone.
It kinda boggles me that it's such a free-for-all - if you don't want it sitting at the bottom of your yard, then why on earth would anyone else? sheesh.
